Ralph Carr’s involvement has been crucial in many tours nationally and internationally, including Tina Arena’s stadium tours throughout the 1990s.

Carr was a pioneer in touring South East Asia with Rick Price, one of the early acts he managed. Understanding that Rick’s style would suit this market, Ralph embarked strategically on a number of Asian tours to consolidate Rick in these markets. This resulted in multi-platinum sales in South East Asia, a territory where he continues to tour to this day. 

Years later, Carr had the same understanding for Tina Arena, identifying an appreciative audience in France and Europe. Tina subsequently enjoyed a great deal of success in those markets.

Focussing on how to get his acts into the live arena is another feature of Carr’s management style. Creating these opportunities in Australia and overseas, he knows the importance of timing these projects precisely to maximize results. 

There have been numerous national tours over the years, curated events, shows and exhibitions. Carr continues his energetic approach to this vital side of his business. As he often says: “Most artists make the most money from live touring. This must be one of their key strengths for longevity.”
